Eighteen months ago, Nat Pluto was 'this' close to living his dream of writing the 'Great American Novel', or at least a New York Times Best Seller. He had put together a short story collection, his first novel had been published, and he had some buzz. All he had to do was finish his follow up. A year and a half later, all he has to show for his efforts is a scorching case of writer's block. When he hears strange noises from his adjoining apartment, he finds a dead neighbour, and a very polished, can't miss manuscript in the typewriter. When he gives into temptation and publishes it as his own, there may be more to payback than just a guilty conscience.
