Adaptation of a novel by Andris Kolbergs. Photographer Rūdolfs Dimda has been shot in the courtyard of the apartment home he was residing in. There are multiple suspects, including Dimda`s flatmate Kārlis Valders who has returned as a disabled person from serving in Afghanistan. Eventually, Kārlis confesses to have committed the crime, but the investigator is not quite convinced.
