This video essay started with 3 North Koreans that I encountered during my trip to the border of North Korea located in China. The total moment of gaze captured by my camera was 1min 52sec. From the very last frame of each footage, I wrote a story about their personal life. However, simultaneously, these all detail assumptions ironically emphasize the reality that I cannot overcome the visual frame as a South Korean and tourist.
