The middle aged Clara Kimball Young is shown to advantage in this film. She is a wealthy woman who wants to marry for love but she has other choices also. Duty- to stay with her needy family. Ambition - to follow an opera career. Wealth - to marry for money. A Hindu comes out of nowhere and "shows" her the future - all these scenarios are played out and wouldn't you know it - in the end, she chooses poverty and love. Young is able to play a number of roles as her character winds up in different situations in each scenario. She is: a wealthy woman; an opera singer; a poor school teacher; a derelict - as well as the society woman she starts out as. Valentino has a small role as a gigolo hired to place her in a compromising situation in one of these fantasies - he is on screen for no more than six minutes and plays the role adequately. An interesting film worth watching for its screenplay and Young's performance.
