Giorgos Floras is a man living on the margin of society and Efi is a prostitute. Giorgos, in order to repay his gambling debts, agrees to become Efi's make-believe husband so that she could honour her dying father's last wish. The odd couple will slowly bond, and between them a true love will be born. The reluctance and the shadows of the past will fade away before the power of their feelings.
