We are in the 1900's and a young aristocrat, Eftihia Notara, visits her family's estate with her father. There she meets and falls in love with their beautiful biscuit, Tasos Ligos, whose sister Mario loves the rich Kitsos. When the relationship between the two young people becomes more widely known, Lygos asks Kitsos to marry his sister, otherwise he will kill her. Kitsos dies suddenly, while Ligos is now blamed for his death, now forced to go out into the mountains.
