Young Sunder, in the company of his pet duck, runs away away from his home, sneaks aboard a goods train, lands in Bombay, and wonders around until he comes to Pratap Circus. Once there he ends up with unattended lions and is rescued by circus employees, who take him to the police station. With permission of the police, Circus Queen, Nadia, and a clown, Bholunath, undertakes to look after Sunder until the police locate his parents. They are aware that they must look after Sunder as there have been quite a abductions of young children. In the meantime, Sunder's frantic parents approach the police as well as issue an appeal via newspapers and an reward offer of Rs.10,000/-.
