Savita Oberoi is a cold-hearted and wealthy businesswoman. Her only son Ashwin is soft-hearted and is in love with Pooja Sundarlal who comes from a poor family. Her father used to be a famous poet Porash Sundarla now disabled, and her mom, Sudha Sunderlal a housewife and teacher. Mrs. Oberoi wants her son to marry Lily, Mr. Puri's daughter, who is settled in the United States of America.
