In Los Angeles, seven of its inhabitants are each struggling with a life crisis: Lydia is unexpectedly pregnant and doesn't know who the father is; Thomas and Debbie's marriage has disintegrated into a nasty, contentious divorce; Fayland and Katie's car has broken down in Griffith Park; and Preston and Lucious, two young thugs with time on their hands, are bored. A day that starts off with introspection and hope ends needlessly violent.
