There is a couple, each grown up in different environments. They both have scars from each of their family. The guy, from his alcoholic father, and the girl, from her father. When her parents have divorced, the mother re-married, and the father left her to go on a mission. This couple meets in San Francisco by chance, and they fall in love. The guy being Christian, goes out with the girl, hides his faith, and tries to implicate the gospel to her but he, himself ends up falling for sin. As his situation worsens, he discontinues the relationship with her, and even his faith in God falls apart. The guy finds sinful nature within his ego and selfishness. He learns more about forgiveness and love. When the girl gets abandoned by a Christian once more, her scars rise up to the point for her to commit suicide. However, God's visit to her has made her realize about God, and wanting to learn more about God.
