A mother and her adolescent daughter are visiting India during a summer vacation. Daughter finds a Doctor man who is volunteering in a hilly forest area of the under privileged indigenous people of Bengal and starts to feel a deep connection with the man for his concern and love for the poor. She melts in an unnamed relationship with the man which brings back her faith towards her own Indian root. The mother also finds out that , this man is actually her so called Maoist ex love, whom she was forced to leave in 1980's. The film compels us to find out the source of Maoism in India, fraudulence of the political parties and true face of the nation.
