A river crew, led by Chad Pregracke, live in tight quarters on a floating barge compound. They work full time cleaning garbage from the Mississippi River and its tributaries. They are funded partly from private donations, and partly from scrap metal recycling. They tackle small and huge trash remains, including refrigerators, vehicles, and flood debris.
