A Turkish commando sent to North Korea to rescue the Turkish prisoners who has been prisoned by North Koreans during the Korean war. The Turkish have brought us a lot of great films over the years: Turkish Star Wars, Turkish Rambo, Turkish I Spit On Your Grave...well, pretty much every North American film ever made, with the Turkish added to the title. So that way, it's obvious which version you're watching and helps to avoid any confusion. But this one is perhaps the greatest movie about the Korean War ever made. In what is perhaps a deliberate move, most of the Koreans are played by Turkish actors. No doubt because the professionalism of the actors can make you believe that they are in fact, North Korean. It's the actor's craft. Like men playing women in Shakespearian plays. At any rate, it's in Turkish with no subs. It's pretty straight forward. The images tell the story probably better than the clumsily dressed crew ever could.
