Two ordinary looking girls, Eojin and Haein, graduate from an orphanage and live in a small room on rooftop. Haein wears Eojin's uniform and does volunteer work for her, and one day Eojin's biological brother shows up. The brother thinks that Haein is Eojin, and Haein wants to erase her long-forgotten existence and live as Eojin. This way, Haein wants to find who she is. Then, Haein gets a phone call telling her that Eojin is critically ill. The beauty of No-Name is that the film calmly follows Haein's psychological conflict, which rolls like rough sea. A scene of fantasy in the film is a good example. Haein's sense of guilt brings dying Eojin in front of her. The sound of raging currents in the background of the two girls arguing represents the vortex within Haein. A montage of such sounds and images stand out once again at the ending.
