Artak has served his Army term in Russian countryside where he met Valya. But Valya`s mother refuses to let her only daugher to "these far highlands, where earthquakes happen all the time". So Artak is forced to ask his contrasting and numerous relatives - Armenian villagers - to visit a remote Russian village for bringing a bride to Armenia.
