A highly strung know-it-all writer called Daniel (Jon Campling), whose only real success came from a tacky sci-fi show which he wishes he hadn't written, and his loyal but hapless best friend and personal assistant Keith (Andrew Fitch) try to get Daniel new agent representation so he can win a bet with his nemesis, fellow writer Colin Brown.
